BEHR PRO® Acrylic Texture Coating is specifically designed to provide a textured finish on properly prepared interior and exterior surfaces. This product helps minimize defects and irregularities found on concrete and masonry surfaces. It also provides a mildew resistant finish on the paint film. Not for use on floors, below-grade surfaces, and areas subject to hydrostatic pressure.

PRODUCT USAGE
BEHR PRO Acrylic Texture Coating is ideal for use on commercial and multi-family residential buildings. It provides a decorative appearance that helps minimize surface imperfections. It can be applied to properly prepared and primed concrete, stucco, masonry, concrete block, wood, and metal surfaces. Not for use on floors.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The following steps are recommended for product performance:
- All surfaces must be clean, free of dust, chalk, oil, grease, mold and mildew stains, loose and peeling paint, rust and all other foreign substances. Glossy surfaces must be 'scuff-sanded' with appropriate sandpaper and primed prior to coating.
- Allow new stucco or concrete to cure for 30 days before painting.
- Fill all gaps with a 100% acrylic, siliconized, paintable caulking and allow to completely dry prior to coating.

APPLICATION
- Surfaces to be painted must be cleaned, primed with an appropriate primer and ready to accept a finish coat.
- For best results, apply when air, material, and surface temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Temperatures above 90°F can cause the paint to dry too fast, whereas temperatures below 35°F can inhibit proper film formation. Do not paint if rain, snow, or heavy dew are expected within 24 hours.
- Texture Spray: Graco President 10:1 Air Spray System, Graco Texspray RTX 5500PX, or similar texture spray equipment capable of spraying up to 3 mm aggregate size.
- Roller: Use a high quality 3/4" to 1 1/4" nap roller cover (for small areas and touch-up)
- Brush: Use a high-quality Nylon/Polyester brush (for small areas and touch-up)
- Coverage: 50-80 sq ft per gallon depending on the surface texture, porosity, and application method. This does not include the loss of material from spraying. Film thickness depends on the porosity and various substrate irregularities.
- Certain colors may require additional coats for complete hide.
- This coating is intended to be applied without thinning or diluting under normal environmental and application conditions. If necessary to maintain good workability, add up to one quart of water per 5 gallons of coating.
- Intermix containers of the same product to ensure color and sheen uniformity.
- Darker colors, cooler temperatures, or higher humidity may prolong drying time.
- Not for use on below-grade substrates. Will not withstand hydrostatic pressure.
- Not for use on horizontal surfaces (floors, roofs, decks, etc.) where water will collect.
- Not for use on overhead horizontal surfaces (undersides of balconies, soffits, etc.)
- Allow 4 weeks before washing or cleaning for full cure.
- Shelf life under normal conditions is two years unopened.

DRY TIME AT 77° F AND 50% RH
- Dries to touch in 1 hours @ 77ºF (25ºC) and 50% Relative Humidity.
- Recoat after 2 hours.
- Darker colors, cooler temperatures, or higher humidity may prolong drying time.
- After 2 weeks, cured paint film may be cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.

- Clean equipment and paint spatters with warm, soapy water.
- For disposal of empty containers and unused product, contact your household refuse collection service.
