Start your interior stain project by cleaning the surface and lightly sanding the wood.

To prep the surface, gently sand the wood with a sanding block and 220 grit sandpaper, then give it a wipe with a lint-free cloth to remove all dust.
Apply a thin coat following the direction of the wood grain, making sure to keep a “wet” edge.
TIP: To limit brush marks and bubbles, hold your brush at a 45-degree angle.
Lightly sand the surface once more with 220 grit sandpaper and wipe away the dust with a lint-free cloth.
After applying a second coat, let it dry for a couple more hours.
