How to Prep a Stain

Using a stain-blocking primer will help seal the area prior to painting.

  • Brush (2"-2½")

  • Screwdriver

  • Step 1

    Grab your tools.

  • Step 2

    Remove vents using a screwdriver. 

  • Step 3

    Find the stains you want to paint and simply paint over with a BEHR® Stain-Blocking Primer.
