After the surface has been cleaned, prepped and porous, apply BEHR PREMIUM Color Enhancing Sealer with either a high-quality pump sprayer, ¼” – 3/8” nap roller, synthetic brush, or a sponge pad applicator until saturated. Applicator choice will depend on your project needs. A pump sprayer is recommended to cover large areas.
TIP: Spread rate is 175 – 400 Sq. Ft. per gallon depending on the porosity of your surface. You may need a second coat on very porous surfaces. Apply within 24 hours of initial application.
If the sealer is sprayed on, back roll or wipe up excess product with a clean cloth before it cures. Do not allow the product to pool as it will cause the surface to be sticky.
TIP: Work quickly while spraying in a circular pattern to help avoid over application.
If applying on vertical surfaces, apply from the bottom up and saturate well. Avoid dripping and clean up any excess product with a clean cloth before it cures.
Be sure the surface is fully cured before use.
