Memories for Mom: DIY Clip Board

A mother is a lovable person who supports you through all life’s moments- good and bad. These moments are what strengthen your bond and make her the amazing woman she is. This Mother’s Day let her know how much you are thankful for, by making her a personalized clipboard. With this she’ll be able to place all of her favorite pictures, drawings, and recipes in one place, to view with love.
To create this clipboard you will need the following materials:
Wood Boards
Paint
Painters Tape
Small Roller or Small Brush
Screws
Bulldog clips
Step 1: Paint your wood boards
Use a small paint roller. or brush, to paint the base color of your boards. Allow to dry and apply a second coat if desired.

Base coat color: ULTRA PURE WHITE
Step 2: Outline your design
Once the base coat has completely dried, create a customized design on your board with painters tapes.

Step 3: Paint design
Paint in your design in the color/s of your choice. I used Fish Pond P440-3 and Indian Sunset M170-5.

Step 4: Remove tape
Once the paint has dried, carefully remove the painters tape.

Step 5: Measure and mark your boards
With a ruler, measure and mark on your board where you’d like to place your clips.

Step 6: Attach screws
Drill guide holes, then small screws to hang your clips upon.

Step 7: Hang clips
Mount your boards on the wall and hang items your mom might like such as photos, drawings, or a Mother’s Day card.
