Nurturing serves as a surprising yet welcoming shade for an entry door on a home’s exterior. This fresh, subtle green adds just enough vitality to liven up a home painted in a neutral tone such as gray. It’s also a perfect natural partner for both plants and earth tones in the surrounding area, such as walkway pavers in various shades of stone.

This mellow, upbeat green adds healthy energy to the dining room walls. A shade that could easily become a modern classic, Nurturing looks right at home in an eclectic dining area, complete with an assortment of succulents and ceramic plate ware. It also plays well with retro-inspired furnishings such as bentwood chairs and glass lamps. White wall trim adds a finishing touch to the space.

Nurturing adds a refreshing look to kitchen walls, whether the room’s style is country cottage, casual modern or somewhere in between. White cabinets look crisp and clean against the green backdrop, accented by white shelves and white or natural wood furniture. Add a colorful tile backsplash or opt for beadboard; then throw in a few kitchen accouterments in white, tan or copper for a cohesive connection.

Freshen up the laundry room with a fresh coat of Nurturing. This green adds just the right amount of playful, vibrant energy to the room to make laundry time a lovely time. It’s also the perfect backdrop for a white washer and dryer and storage shelving.

Nurturing adds creative energy to a home office space, too. Paint the walls green to add a caffeine-free boost to your workday. Outfit the space with your ideal wooden desk, a potted plant or two and a comfy office chair. Nurturing is the perfect color if your home office is tucked into a corner of a living room or other multi-purpose space, too. An area rug and a few potted plants tie the look of the entire room together for an intentional, cohesive style.

Even a bedroom benefits from this pleasing green shade that’s calm enough for a good night’s sleep and inviting enough to welcome a new day. Furnish the bedroom with white bedding, a distressed white vanity or dressing table, and a light area rug.

Hi Norma – thanks for your interest in BEHR paint.
The answer to your questions is yes, according to Color Theory green and red tones should complement each other just fine. However, if you are looking to paint an entire house with a this hue, you might want to consider using a slightly more muted version of it. Please check out Cottage Hill HDC-CT-28, Roof Top Garden S390-4 or Rejuvenation S370-4.
We hope you find these color suggestions helpful.

      Diana
