This month we chose a color spotlight from our collection of new grays. Chimney PPU25-22 is a cool, deep gray working it’s way up the list of hot colors this season.
The popularity of gray tones in interior design continues. We find light versions of the family following a coordination trend of pairings with brighter and lighter colors. Deeper tones, such as Chimney, are emerging as stand alones.
Deep charcoal gray adds a sense of sophistication to a space and can be used, in place of black or white, to ground or provide balance. As members of the gray family, these dark hues maintain their neutrality and versatility with pattern, style and color. The depth of their color gives them a modern feel and fresh look.
We expect to see dark grays feature more prominently in the growing design trend of deep nocturnal color palettes and patterns. Try using darker grays as an accent on your walls, or in your decor.

What is the light gray color of the wall next to fireplace in chimney, please?
Hello,
Thank you for visiting our blog!
We will recommend the following light grays – Silent White PPU26-13, White Moderne PPU24-14, or Evening White N460-1.
Due to differences in monitors and technical factors, the colors here cannot be represented with
their true qualities. These color samples should only be considered a guide. Please refer to actual swatches for true color. We strongly recommend beginning with an 8 oz. sample container of the color you choose and apply it to a small area on your wall to ensure your satisfaction with the color choice. It is always a good idea to see how the light and ambient conditions affect the color at different points in the day.
Colorfully Yours,
Deanna
