Midnight Blue N480-7 is a dramatic color that helps elevate spaces by achieving an element of moody intrigue. It is a show-stopping color when paired with metallic finishes, contemporary furnishings and inviting textures and patterns.
In a kitchen with natural light, a splash of Midnight Blue on the cabinets—whether big or small—can make a bold statement. Paired with an anchoring white on walls and metallic accents like silver or chrome adds a sleek and contemporary touch.

Midnight Blue around a fireplace draws the eye and creates a striking focal point in a room where everything else is light and neutral. Ample amount of natural light makes the space bright and airy.

In a bedroom filled with diffused sunlight, Midnight blue adds depth to the space as a feature wall. Crisp white bedding and soft textiles balance the room. Plush rugs and throws enhance the sense of comfort making it all feel intimate and cozy.

Midnight Blue works well in a modern bathroom to accent a vanity, storage shelving and the door to create a sense of calm and balance.

Midnight Blue is more than just a color; it’s a statement of elegance, depth, and timeless sophistication. This hue is the perfect choice for a variety of applications. The next time you’re looking to go bold, consider using the stunning Midnight Blue.

We are painting the built in cabinets in our family room
Midnight Blue. What color gray would you recommend for the walls? The room does not get much natural light.
Hello Joan, thank you for visiting our blog!
A couple of grays I suggest for your walls are Platinum PPU26-11 and Chic Gray PPU26-10 both lean on the lighter side which will be great for your space that does not get much natural light.
Colorfully yours,
Deanna
