When HGTV star and designer Leanne Ford’s daughter, Ever grew out of her crib and was ready for a big girl bed, Leanne decided it was time for a bedroom makeover. Her daughter was all about pink. Leanne knew if she wanted Ever to be excited about the room, then she needed to add pink everywhere. The combination of the pink hues mixed with whimsical furnishings, pink chiffon, and ballet ribbon accents created a sweet pink palace for her three-year-old daughter.

On the bedroom walls, Leanne chose a delicate and enchanting hushed-tone pink; Peach Sachet. A slightly different and soothing pink hue was used on the ceiling; Pink Sea Salt. The combination of the two colors is bright, happy, and young.
For the trim, she chose a crisp classic white, Ultra Pure White®. The white accents compliment the pink tones and offer a natural break between the walls and ceiling, keeping the room cozy and warm.
Rather than a typical Flat Sheen that is commonly used for ceilings, Leanne chose to use a Satin Sheen. The shine from the sheen picks up the reflection of the light from the crystal chandelier creating a dramatic look.
Using these gentle pink hues creates a calming sweetness that is perfect for any child’s imagination while reading, playing, or dreaming.
