Game Day is here! Kick your table up a notch with football fun this year. We have been seeing many themed styled mason jars everywhere and decided to try them out. And guess what, we love them. They really add an entertaining element to your table.

Time To Complete: 1 hour (does not include dry-time)
Materials:
- BEHR Spray Paints (colors for each project listed below)
- Chalk Board Mason Jar: Black, Flat Sheen
- Football Field Mason Jar:
- Top – Venom P340-7, Gloss Sheen
- Bottom – Luck of the Irish P380-7, Gloss Sheen
- Football Mason Jar: Baronial Brown N170-7, Gloss Sheen
- Referee Mason Jar:
- White 52, Gloss Sheen
- Black, Gloss Sheen
- Field Box:
- Venom P340-7, Gloss Sheen
- White 52, Gloss Sheen
- Gloves
- Painters Tape
- Paint Pen
- Decorative Rope or Ribbon
- Hot Glue Gun
Spray Paint Mason Jars and Box. Let Dry.
To get the multi-toned look as we did for the Football Field Mason Jar, spray paint top 2/3 of the jar. Immediately while still wet, spray paint the bottom with another color. Let the bottom overlap the edge of the top color. This creates a blended look.
Once Dry, Create the Design for Mason Jars and Box
Mason Jars:
- Football Field Mason Jar (solid green):
- Use a white paint pen to draw in the field goal lines and numbers
- Add rope around the top for a finished look
- Helpful Tips:
- Use painters tape as a guide to help get a straight line
- Use stickers for the numbers
- Football Mason Jar (multi-toned green):
- Use a white paint pen to draw in the football stitching
- Add rope around the top for a finished look
- Helpful Tip:
- Use white thin tape and cut to the size of lines for stitching
- Chalk Board Mason Jar (matte black):
- Use a white paint pen to draw the x’s and o’s to create the diagram play
- Add rope around the top for a finished look
- Helpful Hint:
- Use stickers for the x’s and o’s.
- Referee Mason Jar (white):
- With Painters Tape, tape vertical stripes, evenly spaced around the jar
- Spray paint the open areas with Black gloss
- Immediately, remove the tape
- Let dry
- Add rope around the top for a finished look
- Helpful Tip:
- Take off the tape slowly, pulling downward and straight
Field Box:
- Field Box:
- With Painters Tape, tape over the green paint leaving thin vertical stripes, evenly spaced across the box
- Spray paint the open areas with White gloss
- Immediately, remove the tape
- Let dry
- With a paint pen draw in the field goal numbers.
- Helpful Tips:
- Take off the tape slowly, pulling downward and straight
- Use stickers for the numbers
