Winter is coming and you know what that means! Oh yeah… pinecones galore!!! Set yourself on a collection adventure for these seasonal icons and create this colorful, holiday, project perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas alike.
To complete this project you will need the following:
Paint brushes
Eye hooks
Ribbon
Faux pine branches
Door wreath hanger
Glue gun or glue
Paint: we used: Pyramid Gold PPU6-04, Mega Blue P520-6, Green Energy PPU10-03, Classic Berry PPU1-19 and Oriental Eggplant PPU17-02.
Step 1: Paint pinecone tips
For this look, we mostly painted the tips of the pinecones. However, for greater color presence, you can paint the entire pinecone.
Step 2: Insert eye hooks
Allow the pinecone to dry then insert eye hook into the bottom by twisting it in.
Step 3: Attach decorative ribbon
Cut various lengths of decorative ribbon to hang you pinecones with. Tie one end of your ribbon to the eye hook.
Step 4: Add decorative elements
With your glue gun, or glue, attach some decorative elements such as pieces of faux pine or ribbon to the top of the pinecones.
Step 5: Attach pinecones to hanger
Tie the free end of your pinecone ribbons to a ring and hang on your door hanger. Et voila!
The door is painted Unplugged T18-11 and the pinecone tips are Pyramid Gold PPU6-04, Mega Blue P520-6, Green Energy PPU10-03, Classic Berry PPU1-19 and Oriental Eggplant PPU17-02.
